Newsom is posturing for a 2028 run a POTUS, and its clouding his actions as governor. he actually wants people to get arrested en masse, he wants gas canisters shot into crowds. what the GOP should want isn't mass arrests, its national guard presence without it turning into Kansas State. but people are just as clouded as newsom and want revenge, never underestimate the right or left's ability to give away a lead.

even your summary is contradictory. did i say there's none, or that it's localized.

during the george floyd protests hundreds of square blocks had property damage, see below. currently in LA the damage is localized to the square blocks surrounding the ICE headquarters.

the destruction will spread, its just not widespread yet.

That doesn't include daunte wright riots a year later and damage to brooklyn center. Riots which were more egregious even if lesser in damages, sending someone even more innocent and blameless to prison while championing someone even more despicable.
