Every time the Harris/Walz ticket talks about loving America, taking care of our neighbors, and bringing together people who think differently, I want you to remind us how Romney was treated 12 years ago.

They learned from their mistakes during the Clinton run. You can't just call people Deplorables and win.

It's true, Hillary told the truth and it was bad politically.

Because I dislike all the candidates, I think I'm gonna give it the good old libertarian "NOTA."

In California, I tend to vote third party for President because winner-take-all in a state like California makes the state a non-starter for anything other than the Democratic nominee. Is there not an argument for doing the same, given that I believe a political party that gets 5% of the national popular vote becomes eligible for federal election funding?

My point in that post wasn't to criticize the Heritage Foundation, it was basically saying "deporting illegals and handing the transition to the Heritage Foundation" isn't much of a policy platform.

The Heritage Foundation has a pretty clear agenda, by suggesting to staff his admin with lots of their folks, Trump pretty unequivocally signals that his administration would adopt this agenda.
Also keep in mind that handing over judicial nominations to the Federalist Society was wildly successful and without a doubt the most efficient aspect of his first term.

Tim Walz literally had a "snitch line" with which Minnesotans could report their neighbors to the authorities if they broke covid restrictions. He also once said that "one person's socialism is another person's neighborliness". Hard pass.

That reminds me of this one governor in Texas who has a snitch line for women leaving Texas to get an abortion and saying they'll get $10k. Gotta love that big govt, don'tchya, repubs? "Party of small govt" my ass 🤣.

Books, rainbows, lgbtq, blue hair, dark colors, women's choice... the real enemy of repubs. So scary.

Also the snitch line in Utah that was trying to snitch on Trans people using the wrong bathroom. Amazing how there is no snitch line for all them religious leaders diddling kids.

You call yourself a victim for online words? I can already picture the way social medias shaped u after decades

I mean, I can only teach you so much. If you're going to be ignorant to everything and just ignore progression, that's on you. You can be a victim to online words, if not, where is the line drawn? Can I go up to a stranger and start calling them names without repercussion? No? Why not? They're just words from my mouth. Words have consequences whether they're online, in letter, in person, on TV, etc. If they didn't, why do we even have rules on this site? Why is there literally libel laws? It's really not that hard to understand.

I love the buzz words and the lack of context. It’s like me reading a story about a woman being raped and telling someone “the news has a story about sex again, I don’t get why reproduction is such a big deal”

Sexual deviancy and its encouragement corrodes the fabric of society. Homosexual acceptance has led us to this point. Yes “trans” people are the hot topic now but in 15 years when we just treat it like homosexuality, what will be the hot topic then?
