The people in Western societies by and large won't accept strong abortion restrictions. Just look at the US after the infamous
Dobbs decision - even in very conservative states, referendums seeking to legalize abortion are finding a majority. If there's a pro-choice majority even in states like Kansas, what do you think would happen if the governments tried to ban abortion in places like the UK or the Netherlands?
