Actually I'm pretty good with statistics backed by science.

It's when they are politically motivated and dangerous that I feel the need to say something.

They say it's safe to go to Mexico now that the cartel is under control. No chance I go there or recommend anyone to go there

They say the murder rate in Chicago has gone down every year. No chance I go there or recommend anyone to go there.

Reality is lived experience and if someone were to ask me that's not from Illinois or Chicago..

"Hey they say on the news that Chicago is safer then it's ever been and that the gangs are finally under control" should I book a weekend at "such and such" hotel.

I would say "No" and that wherever they got that information was dishonest. Gangs aren't "under control" and the murder rate is whatever you want it to be if you don't included unreported homicides in the city when you come up with those "statistics"

Where are you from I'm curious because most the people who argue with me are from Canada or Europe because they've never been to a city that has a nickname like "chiraq"
