While I haven't watched the film (and will not), I don't buy the notion that it was a parody. I think it's more likely that such elements were placed into the film for plausible deniability. The shots of kids "dancing" proves this nearly unequivocally in my opinion. That and it's a film from France, and we all know about the French and paedophilia
