There's no support for RFK in dems, same isn't said for Republicans in their own party.

In fact, there's a TON of Republican support for anybody not named Trump.

Like I said, you don't really get to have an opinion if you disagree, because these are obscenely basic observations you should have made already.

He was polling at something like 20% with Democrat voters wasn't he? While that is still not very much & not a serious threat in the primary, that is higher than ANY of Trump's challengers. No one has broken 20% against Trump. Your statements on this are just factually incorrect. Trump is leading by over 40 points.

I'm not aware of any poll that gave him 20% of democrats. Also, democrats aren't running a primary. So it doesn't even matter.

Desantis had both the backing of a lot of the Republican electorate and major donors and republican establishment and they're actually running a primary

there's a solid % of support among dems for literally any person who has a pulse not named Biden. not everyone can so easily ignore his clear mental decline.

but when it comes to paying attention most of RFK's platform is right out of the 1980s and 1990s dem playbook. anti corporation, pro worker, common sense reform.

Best I can find is 10% of dems for RFK Jr. Which I agree likely comes from just wanting somebody without mental decline. His major sources of funding are all Republican though, and when I see him on any form of social media it's because Republicans are pushing him.

The "mental decline" narrative of Biden is pretty clearly overblown. Not being sharp enough to give fast public speeches isn't really a big deal for administration.

Biden's pretty clearly in control of his administration even if he's not as fast as he used to be by a pretty wide margin. He's got the luxury of 40 years of experience which is likely the only reason he is functional in this environment.

Still, I've been pretty happy with the results. He's not as immediately sharp as he used to be, but he's clearly still able to think issues through and is actively fighting for things I want. Going to the picket line for UAW was pretty awesome. He's even doing things conservatives should LOVE, like going out of his way to meet and make ties with China's neighbors to further economically isolate them.

Trump's in a pretty severe mental decline too, but it shows in different ways because Trump's entire sense of self worth is being good on camera.

i dont overly disagree, i just have the laugh at the dichotomy between biden and obama.

obama: great speaker, able to articulate his points, sharp and quick in debates, all good leadership qualities.

biden: cant speak well, cant articulate well, slow and dull in debates. leaders dont need to speak well.

biden personally stands for very little that i care about, and RFK checks far more boxes. he still wont make it anywhere because he's getting Bernie'd.

RFK Jr. now running independent.

Yeah you won't convince me that he isn't just being pushed by Republicans to siphon from Biden.

Except I'm thinking this is going to backfire, because his appeal among Republicans is stronger than Democrats lol

Pretty good middle ground populist speech. Seems a bit into himself, god savior complex.
