I have yet to see anyone call it racist so i never saw any point in debating your strawman, i pointed out the fact that not only is this all regular shit in many small towns but also that the maga crowd do most of these things, january sixth covers pretty much all of it except the car jacking.

also after doing 5 seconds of googling it seems he filmed the video at the spot that is most famous for the lynching of a black kid. Like the location is SUPER FUCKING FAMOUS in American history because a bunch of people strung a black kid by his neck and hanged him until death.

Okay so he used actual clips from BLM protests. Now I want to remind you the BLM protests happened because of racially targeted killings by the police. the BLm movement is about equality for all races in the same vein feminism is about equality for all genders. Thats all it is. So. If we now look, he is talking about having a gun and essentially directly referencing BLM protests in his video. So it wouldn't be hard as a pleb viewer to think he may be trying to directly reference BLM and how he would shoot them if they came to their town. so if 'equality for all races' tried to come to his town he would use the gun his grandad gave him, thats what a lot of people probably think he is implying. The fact that he decided to shoot the video in a location that is known in history for a famous lynching kind of makes it hard to ignore that negative message towards BLM and in effect a negative message towards non whites.

If you were making a music video and weren't trying to send a message would you film it at a famous lynching site and talk about using a gun against the BLM movement, or would film it in like a rocky area in the middle of nowhere and talk about girls and trucks like every other country song?

Seems like a bit of an over-reaction and dubious to make claims of racism, even the dog whistling kind, due to locations used as part of filming.

for sure but also put into context that in the video itself they use clips from BLM protests (BLM stands for black lives matter) and he specifically references people that do the exact actions in the clips he shows of the BLM protestors as people he is targetting

And the dude had spoken about this type of stuff before publicly talking shit about blm

so its like when there is only one thing, a random court house, then ya, but when its the 'random' court house, and the 'random' clips of blm, and the 'random' previous references he made. I mean, you call a Leopard a Leopard or else it eats your face bro

The song and video just seem like the personification of many conservative and so-called "anti-woke" sentiments. Like conservative Facebook posts that got turned into a song. A bit cringe? For sure. Racist? I'm not seeing that.

Depends on the small country town I guess. Most small towns aren't as neighbourly as they used to be. Everyone kinda keeps to themselves.

I guess the singer wanted to reimagine his small town. But yea in general small towns are likely to stand up for one another.

There is always a small town Kyle Rittenhouse sitting there ready to be activated. Need to bring back the old laws of chopping people fingers and hands for stealing. Maybe not essentials like food though I can kind of understand that.
