I'd have to guess the polls suffer from sampling bias. All I see r trump signs. Oshkosh has a literal trump store.
That's anecdotal evidence though. With how predictive the rural/urban divide has become in American politics, it seems logical to me that small-ish town like Oshkosh would lean heavily toward Trump. Doesnt have to mean a lot for the rest of the state.

If I picked any random Trump pundit off of any mainstream(FOX, CNN, etc) news show, they would do a better job running the country and accomplishing the policy goals of the knuckle-dragging populist right than Trump does.
You people support Trump because he triggers the people you hate. Nothing more. The motivation to re-elect him is almost entirely driven by childish emotions.
The vast majority of those pundits would not pursue the "goals of the knuckle-dragging populist right". Or perhaps they would, out of a nihilistic thirst for power (see: Tucker2024), but they wouldnt be true believers in this cause, perhaps even sabotage it. (Granted, this might still produce better results than Trump who's constantly sabotaging himself unintentionally, out of sheer incompetence...)
Trump has a lot of credibility with his base, simply because he was the one to take all these populist positions his base loves when the pundits and career politicians and the RNC all considered them laughable and dismissed them as unfeasible in a general election campaign. When spineless opportunists like Ted Cruz or Lindsey Graham try to emulate "trumpiness", it's typically cringeworthy.
