Garland just left a great job to do a thankless job. I expect him to go HAM when it comes to government accountability. White House Counsel is legit scared right now. They know they are fucked.

Trump being the first former president to sit in federal prison is the only way to prevent somebody smart from taking his playbook and making a coup attempt. If we don't stop this shit now the next step is brain drain and massive destabilization. Thankfully those last two are actually really bad for business, so the people who actually run the government are going to be on the side of making it happen. (I hope)

The House already proposed a Constitutional amendment to limit the pardon power. If it passes, Joe Biden won't be able to pardon Hunter Biden. This is one of the first hundreds of reforms that we need to codify. I think Garland is up for the task given his experience with both federal and Constitutional law.
