actually it is... everywhere is the centre.

Quote
In a sense, there is no actual center of the universe. If the Big Bang were an explosion of matter into space, then there would certainly be a center. Instead, the Big Bang was a rapid expansion of space itself (see # 2). Thus every point in the universe was together in a singularity at the beginning. In fact, you could say that every point in the universe is the center of the universe. The expansion in the simulation above is centered around the middle of the screen out of necessity.

I guess it depends on semantics, but I don't see our universe as having a center. If everything's the center, then there's no point in naming something the center of the universe.

We don't even know if the universe is finite.

And general relativity tells us that spacetime is curved anyway, so Euclidean geometry is insufficient.

And halfway into what? It is expanding at a speed faster than light and probably not something covered by the kind of sensory measurements we even use.

If we look far enough we're looking at shit that hasn't even been there since long before the human race.

Epistemological nihilism is about the only epistemological truth. Science itself has nothing to do with the truth, just constructing facts to use to construct more facts, using different agents in the most political of processes. Proliferate papers.

The center of the universe is that point where I know I'm falling asleep and I can't stop

So it's jealousy then? I must admit you confuse me. I thought the concept of faith a simple one.
