The 10 commandments have nothing to do with the grace that Christ Jesus' blood gives.

Christ himself stated that each and every commandment still stands.

Which has nothing to do with grace.

something about upholding the law of old prophets too, but were not too good about that either

When Jesus was physically on the earth, they were still under the law. It wasn't until Paul's Ministry that the Gospel of Grace was given unto him. That gospel is for the gentiles. The Gospel of Jesus was the Gospel of the Kingdom, which was given to the Jewish nation at that time, therefore, we are no longer under the law as Paul clearly states in Romans.
