You do not quarantine the healthy to protect the sick.

You do not quarantine those likely to be relatively unimpacted to "save" those likely to be heavily impacted.

A better idea: Socialists and Communists should stop rioting, murdering people, burning down homes and businesses, and directly destroying people's lives. They are active political terrorists. Those who are concerned about a cold should take whatever precautions they can to mitigate their personal risk.

Personal responsibility is a thing. It's too bad the left were never taught about it growing up.

No, right on the face of it, everything you're saying is absurd. I'm not personally responsible for your health. If you go into a public place and choose to get within spitting distance of someone, you're ALWAYS taking a risk you may catch something.

You do not mitigate such risks by demanding others change their life or habits. You mitigate your risk by changing your OWN life and habits.

I don't care one way or another about masks, frankly. Those who wish to wear them should, those who don't wish to shouldn't. EVERYONE should decide for themselves what level of risk they're willing to expose themselves to.

I don't need to mask myself if I go for a jog to protect random people in the park. The random people in the park can either stay off the jogging trail, give me space when I pass by or behave normally. What THEY do is dependent on THEMSELVES. THEY have personal responsibility for their OWN lives. Their health is not my problem. Nor is mine theirs.

I wear a mask when I go to the store or when unable to be more than 6 feet apart from others outside of my family, as is the reasonable recommendation of scientists during a global pandemic.

Masks aren't particularly useful at preventing you from catching the virus. Their primary purpose is to prevent you from spreading the virus.

Thus, unless you actively HAVE the virus, you wearing a mask isn't going to impact one single thing. Further, if you've had the virus and gotten over it, you're no longer a contagion factor, and once again, the mask will impact nothing
