What policy differences? From the left we see Biden saying he wants an even larger military budget than Trump, that he wants to give even more funding to police, that he explicitly endorses fracking, that he opposes universal healthcare...

The main difference is going to be stylistic rather than policy based. It’s a cosmetic change.

When the left looks at the Parties, we see Republican say “it’s ok for unidentified federal troops to kidnap people off the streets and indefinitely detain them” and the Democrats say “No! You’re wrong! They must identify themselves!” They don’t want to stop the authoritarian overreach, they just want to dress it up in a more favorable costume.
