So what's the deal?

Everyone tying Trump and Manafort to the Russians and Ivanka thinks it's a good time to go on vacation with Putin's girlfriend?

Seems like Rudy G forgot about 9-11. I guess "never forget" wasn't a straightforward enough slogan.

Dunno if it's him or me but he sure seems a helluva lot kookier than he did the early days after 9/11 when afaik he was pretty well respected

I think every prominent Republican even loosely related to 9-11 had a huge approvals boom and now has fallen from grace.

GWB is a running joke for both sides of the isle now. Christie was the first buttsniffer to catch Trump's scent. Gulliani wasn't far behind. Newt Gingrich is another running joke.

Funny how when that patriotic bluster fades you realize he's just an angry outspoken ass with what looks like 2 separate sets of teeth. And i think the unapologetic nature of New Yorkers helped him, he was like their mascot. Now he is talking out of his ass and people can see it, he might be the worse deflector of any of the male Trump camp. That latino woman deflects like a real pro.

(CNN)Florida Sen. Marco Rubio is standing by his description of Donald Trump as "a con artist," but he says in a new interview he still plans to support the real estate mogul for president.

"I've stood by everything I ever said in my campaign," Rubio told the Miami Herald editorial board Monday when asked about his comments made during the Republican presidential primary earlier this year.

He said the race is "in a different place now" -- with voters facing a "binary choice" between Trump and Hillary Clinton.

"In our republic, while the presidency is powerful, there is a balance of power in this country, and a significant amount of it resides in the United States Senate," Rubio said. "It's one of the reasons why I seek to run again."

This just keeps getting better and better.

How does that not come back to haunt them all?

They are all pretty much making attack ads against themselves for the next decade

I'm sure Trump will give specifics on how the election was rigged after he loses.

Oh wait, no he won't, he'll just continue bullshitting. Fareed Zakaria said it best, Trump is a bullshit artist.

And Republicans and the party's primary voters have been buying that bullshit, really for years now.

This time around, it's just more obvious for most people to see. Trump made it easier this time around, but the bullshit has been there for pretty much the past 16 years.

On both sides of the aisle, bitter primary opponents always crawl back for a cabinet nod. Its really only noteworthy when the politics get out of hand, such as when HRC was inciting birther claims against Obama. or when Christie is lambasted as a fat useless governor then sucks off a real estate mogul on national tv.

Thie move by Rubio seems to be worse than most though, any person who crawls back to Trump after getting demoralized needs to leave politics. At least in this case Rubio hit back with the hands mockery, i cant imagine Low Energy Jeb crawling to the trump camp after putting up zero fight.
