I mean its not really a hard comparison to untangle:

"Defund the police" -> "There's a man breaking into my home in the middle of the night and I called 911 and they said someone will come by later this week to take a statement"
"Defund the FBI" -> "I got home from my united steelworkers union meeting and there wasn't a black van with tinted windows parked across the street from my apartment"
