abusing the justice system to go after corporations you dont like with the support of pro government corporations is literally the definition of fascism

This is going to be a source of a huge amount of scamming, particularly paid check accounts impersonating tech support for legit companies. The way they've implemented the new blue check program is ridiculous.

An easy way they could help differentiate between actual verified accounts and paid check ones is to give the paid ones a different color check. Might make it easier to identify real sources vs potential bad actors.

There are two images in that Tweet, which I'll embed here. The first is the official verified Twitter page for Apple TV+, and the second is a new paid account emulating it. The second one changed the "L" in Plus to a capital "i".
