Initiating violence against innocent people, like charging at a someone and trying to kill them, or hitting them over the head with a skateboard, or trying to execute a 17 year old after he falls down.

Arming yourself and traveling a short distance is not aggressing against someone else. Protecting people and property is not a NAP violation.

the internet has forced both parties to acknowledge the worse parts of their voter base. additionally those who dont vote for them, but are farther to the fringe than the party. Antifa, white nationalists, etc. and as political division dissolves the center both parties find themselves going after the fringes more to gain votes because votes in the middle are disappearing as lines are drawn in the sand and centrists become party members.

admittedly tho the left seems to be handling this far worse, likely because their fringe are more tech savvy and therefore more loud in their gripes. and while the right scoffs off violence such as school shooters or a car ramming at a rally rather than outright condemning it, the left seems to be endorsing property damage and violence at a higher rate.

well I don't think any sensible person scoffs off school shooters or death in general, but agree with your viewpoint.

it's a no true scotsman fallacy any time a shooter or violent thug is linked to a political party. they aren't a REAL republic, they're an alt right fringe wierdo. they arent a real democrat, they're an ANTIFA wildcard.

somehow people dont think someone further left/right of them is any responsibility of them, even tho the rhetoric that amps those people up is used rampantly in the mainstream. fear of illegals, hate of corporations, liberals coming for your guns, claiming gun victims dindu nuffin, etc.

He was just peacefully protecting property, nothing aggressive about that. He was armed, which in itself is not an aggressive gesture, he wanted to make sure he was not going to get killed by a bunch of hoodlums.
