There's nothing in the book disallowing some Israelis to think like the most obtuse fascists, and to present Gaza as a nest absolutely full of terrorists and which has to be razed to the ground.
Even if U.N just said that cutting off water was going against international human rights laws (or similar; check for sources). What is UN after all hu ? Just the entity which allowed Israel to "re-exist" 75 years ago.
Gaza is absolutely a nest full of terrorists. That's just an accurate representation of the average Palestinian. Its the
above average Palestinians, those with more means who live among the west and absorbed more western culture- and they're
still vocally supportive of terrorism. Among those living in Gaza, its overwhelmingly the consensus of the people, and has been. To deny that is just to deny reality. Israel has a wide philosophical range between sympathetic lefties, peaceniks and bleeding hearts opposed to cynical pragmatists, neoconservatives and religious zealots of their own. They have a wide spectrum of beliefs and motives, well represented in the Knesset. Their consensus is somewhere in the middle-right, where Bibi sits. The two aren't comparable. The average Israeli wants the IDF to warn civilians before attacks to minimize collateral damage and provide minimal humanitarian aid to prevent a famine. The average Palestinian wants to murder every Jew alive in the world.
That's the geopolitical clay from which we shape events, not a justification for them. We've got to have a baseline of understanding of the groups to be able to judge their actions
