Faucis right, at least about being wrong
Its pretty blunt and simple: Trump was wrong just like everyone was wrong, and Trump was saying in public what Fauci was telling him.
All the predictions scientists made using the best available methods turned out to be massively wrong, both those predicting far worse outcomes and those far less serious.

Its ironic enough that these journalists who all engaged in the exact same false predictions of coronavirus at the outset are now trying to condemn Trump for it
but its even more ironic that they're now railing against Fauci to try to decry Trump not listening to the scientists

Yeah, when Trump compared the coronavirus threat to the flu, the CDC and media were both making that same comparison and nobody really knew if it would be better or worse. We were having that same debate early on in this very thread. Some predictions were that it would be 100x worse and an apocalyptic plague far worse than the spanish flu. Some people thought it would just blow over with less impact than the flu. Well, it took months of data gathering and the excess death numbers show it was ~3-6x worse than the flu. We're still in the middle of learning the full impacts and how effective our responses have been. At first the WHO was telling people not to wear masks, even after the CDC started recommending they do. But there's still reason to doubt whether widespread mask usage is currently having any effect on covid-19 spread at all, the statistics don't show the huge improvements hoped for, perhaps just marginal benefits, perhaps offsetting other factors that would skyrocket it without a mandate. We can't know yet.

Trump is weak on coronavirus and an easy target particularly because of his far too prolonged resistance to masks, but its definitely sinners throwing stones in this story
especially considering Joe Biden opposed Trump's actions to close the borders in the first place

All true, but that doesnt absolve Trump from his fair share of the blame. No one can honestly say that Trump tried his best to contain and mitigate the virus. And most people, even a lot of his supporters, will agree that even if he had tried his best, his best would still not have been good enough on this particular issue. He got caught with his pants down, was badly exposed, and it's probably gonna cost him his second term.

Your perspective is delusional. If you were in his shoes it would be 100x worse. There is no situation in your mind which is both realistic and possible.

it's amazing how even a serial trumpapologist like blackx, who still tries to downplay the extent of trump's failure, his responsibility for tens of thousands of preventable deaths, is not good enough, even 'delusional' in the eyes of someone who made trump their whole identity, regarding literally every single thing he does as perfect, lol.

you, bi-ghot, and goon-shill would be truly fascinating test subjects. i can honestly say i did not think those levels of delusion and brainwashing would be possible in a modern society.

What exactly do you think I would have done in his position that would have made the situation 100x worse?

You would have told people to wear masks and they would have revolted causing the next Civil War. In a panic, you would launch all the nuclear missiles and start World War 3.
