The purpose is to destroy hamas? What does that mean exactly? Do they need to kill every member of the hamas government or just the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades?
What about the police? Should they be killed as well? Luckily they won't be needed anymore if Israel will be ruling over them so that works out.

Israel "controlled" Gaza before, how did that go? Do you honestly think this is being done in good faith? How many people do you think need to be killed in order to avoid this "happening all over again"?

Destroy Hamas means to eliminate his operations both civil (governmental) and military capabilities.

If Israel does not put a robust plan in place to prevent further groups (or Hamas) from repeating Oct 7, from the area known as Gaza, then there is no point to what they are currently doing. Other then revenge of course.

The point of what they are doing is to displace/kill the people of Gaza and demolish their homes/businesses/utilities

What do you think happens to the people who return to their bombed out neighborhoods? What about the people who shovel their relatives out from under a collapsed building? Will they realize the error of their ways and accept Israeli rule?

Israeli government doesn't give a shit about "revenge" they want to deal with the palestinian problem and allowing the Oct 7th attack to happen was a means of justifying it. Were it simply "revenge" it wouldn't be nearly as evil as what they are attempting.

nah there is enough in there to suggest that they just dropped the ball (again). stupidity and arrogance, not malice, led to this lapse in preventing Oct 7th. It looks pretty clear to me anyway. no idea what Israeli's long term plan for Gaza is tbh but they have repeatedly said this is going to take a while (months and months).



99% Egypt and Jordan will not take them in. They are a threat for those countries, they wont do it. The Arab states have been clear that this is Israels mess, and Israel has to find its own solution, whatever that is. I will go read a bit more about both countries and their current position.
