Me too. They've gone easy on him about a lot of things.

They have gone easy on him by treating every dumb thing he says as something worthy of discussing rather than just calling it like it is and refusing to treat him as a serious person until he shows he is ready for the big boy table.

As per your suggestion I just listen to Morning Joe. Still can't decide if Minka actually loves this cycle because it gives her ample opportunities to slowly sigh and say "is this really where we're at" ad nauseum. But Joe and the guests the assemble are top fucking notch, and Minka is great when she's not exaggerating for effect.
