When a girl gets her period it is up to her parents to handle it. This has been how a girls first period has been handled since the inception of time. Sex education exists to give specific details about the anatomy of boys and girls. Sex education has never existed to help little girls cope with their periods and teach them what pads to have their parents buy for them.
