I've watched in real time as many people i know are deteriorating at home. my wife somewhat included. ive been unlucky to be at work, but lucky that i dont have cabin fever.

blacksmithing is the perfect hobby for that issue, you turn a rectangle of metal into a work of art. most of the time really shitty looking art, but people love them as gifts all the same.

It is tough...

We just walked out a 94 year old lady who has been in the hospital for months with the rona and it was pretty cool seeing her off and well. There are wins.

I try to do stuff everyday. But I've always entertained myself very well. Just go to the woods with my hound and I'm good :) I'm very priviledged at this point in my wife and i can do a lot of things.

What does it matter? There is no moral requirement for president at this time.

Even if we can't have a perfect choice, from a pragmatic lesser of two evils approach, Joe Biden isn't nearly as shitty as impetuous Donald Trump.

If we made a check list of all the shitty weird Trump things, Biden only checks Trump boxes gropes others and has a shitty kid (not Barron). Trump still has a lot of other boxes checked off that are very negative thet Biden doesn't.

on one hand yes. on the other people in 2016 suggested republicans should not vote, vote libertarian, or write in votes rather than voting for a sexual predator, morally corrupt candidate, etc.

now i realize in 2016 it was a choice between a sexual predator and a lifelong liar, woman who went after women who dared to fuck her husband, and career flip flopper. rather than 2020 being a sexual predator vs sexual predator. but still many Bernie bros are agreeing with the 2016 sentiment, and choosing not to make a choice between 2 lesser evils.
