Labour is on track to securing one of the largest seat majorities in UK history, based on a vote share of something like 35% of the vote, significantly lower than what they got in their losing (!) campaign of 2017.
The tldr is that Labour only made small inroads, the general public didn't exactly give them a ringing endorsement - but it translates to a huge electoral victory anyway because of the Tories' complete and well-deserved collapse.

Keir Starmer stands for absolutely nothing. He's amorphous and blander than sliced bread.
How his party will govern remains to be seen. Given their humongous majority, there will be significant ideological intra-party fights between the lefty and centrist factions within Labour about the course of their government.

Labour won on the strength of intense voter apathy. They underperformed their last 2 elections.

Not much different than my post, except that mine includes "did not vote" (DNV).
