When I was a teenager I studied Christianity and Islam as I really wanted a god to exist... Unfortunately I could not find one single proof.

Religious people often say the world is so complex therefore god created it. But the next "logical" question would be, what created god? This is even a bigger problem to solve. An almighty being that is completely invisible and can do whatever he wants? Nice one.

Science on the other hand is trying to actually explain the complexity and it has been very successful in doing that. We don't know everything but we understand much more than we used to couple hundred years ago.

It is only science that gives us actual answers. Not your god. You may not like it but that's the reality that we know if you remove your invisible fairy tail. It does not matter how much you believe in it, it won't become real.

If you get your head out of your butt you'll understand that religion was originally created as a way to explain what we couldn't explain 1000s of years ago. Basically a way of easing the sense of uncertainty about life and a method of control. Later people used religion to control other people... which is totally disgusting.

Were you to tell us that the government killed 78 people, including 20 children, I'd nod. If you tried to justify it, I'd get bored and wander off. Where do you get the idea that Branch Davidians (the Waco victims) killed 300 people? Near as I can tell, while 78 Branch Davidians, including 20 children were killed due to the actions of the government, 4 ATF officers were killed and 20 wounded.
