As for Gaza I don't see how Israel don't go heavy on retribution. The attacks are being touted as Israels 9/11 and they will want revenge.

The US has already sent more military supplies and a carrier strike group, every other western nation has essentially given Israel a blank check to "defend themselves"

This is putting the choice to go to war in the hands of Iran IMO, if they attack Israel after Israel massacres Gaza the US will be immediately involved. Even if only Hezbollah gets involved (which looks likely) the west will have to supply Israel with munitions and equipment which means another Ukraine to support.

Just seems inevitable to me given Israels response so far and what they have stated their plan is.
