And the irish prime minister says was lost and now she is found and on her way home🤦
The political argument around this is a bit silly to be honest. typically in ireland when someone is lost, its another way of saying that they are dead. different culture's use the same words but they will sometimes have different overtones. anyway. I dont think any irish person will lose sleep over this argument, and its one thing all polticians in ireland agree on, for once. from an irish context Israel's rebuke is considered an own-goal (What i mean is, those politicians in ireland that support Israel are flabbergasted by this rebuke).
Mods: this is the irish state broadcaster, you dont need to suspend me, again, for posting from this site, its not a russian site, thanks:
https://www.rte.ie/news/ireland/2023/1126/1418559-irish-ambassador-to-israel-summoned-for-reprimand/the TLDR is that Ireland is very grateful for all involved for the return of the child, and no one intended Israel to be affronted by how we framed our thank you.
