how hilariously hypocritical of you. the story of trump making a funny comment, that could just as well be completely made up, you not only uncritically accepted as truth (even the parts that, unlike his comments about war casualties and prisoners, don't ring true at all), but even elevated to "ingenious" - but something that portrays him in a bad light, something that is very reminiscent of his PUBLIC comments regarding john mccain, his comments about a gold star family, or his phone call with a grieving soldier's widow, you try to dismiss as fake news. the level of doublethink in your posts is reaching peak levels again...

Goldberg is the guy Mattis spoke to when he heavily criticized Trump some months ago. Says he has 4 sources. AP journalist James LaPorta confirmed the story. And it's consistent with what we(or at least those tethered to reality) already know about Trump.

Even if the sources were named, it's just hearsay. Even if there was a recording, it would just be locker room talk.

"Maybe the troops who died were suckers" would be the hot take on Tucker's show.

If there are multiple sources willing to leak these Trump comments, why didnt they do it two years ago when these comments were made?
Coming out with this kind of story right now, in the middle of the hot phase of the presidential campaign, just reeks of a hit job, no matter if he made those comments or not.

Don't worry. This isn't going to change anybody's mind. Trump acts like this almost daily so it's not like this "hit job" will do anything because any damage it could have done is already done.

Cause these sources were in the government and probably didn't want to undermine the guy they worked for.

You can spin any negative story about Trump as a hit job. If former officials have stories that reveal his character and competence, wouldn't now be the best time to share them?

And attacking the motivation of people who reveal Trump's negative traits is just a way to avoid confronting the content of what they say.



SNL got it right with the Lester Holt/Trump interview. Nothing matters... absolutely nothing matters anymore.
