just to be clear: those idiots were wrong at the time, and their messaging was shitty, but that does not put them even remotely in the same league as the moron who decided to make it a partisan issue in the first place, deliberately withheld aid from blue states for political reasons, continued to downplay it as hundreds of thousands died, kept rejecting science and expertise for months, and despite being the most powerful man in the country did not take any responsibility at all... nice try though...
