so to round it out your opinion is that Musk should sue people (you said it should go to courts and we've now established that means musk has to sue them) even though musk doesnt want to.
happy we cleared that up.
i laughed at Jones, and at the same time disagreed with the judgement against him.
courts getting involved in social media posts is a terrible idea, and its a can of worms you'll never be able to close. you're shortsighted, prosecute kathy griffin and 10 years later you'll see sitting politicians put in prison for tweets, mark my words. just ban them for their stupid posts, dont regulate social media companies, its a terrible idea.
It will be equivalent to punching someone through a computer screen. Moderators are effectively playing a judge but when your business and reputation is tied up on social media especially if it's significant like in Musk case then why should it be excluded from the courts of laws?
Slippery slope you say? Maybe, then again you know that the left is doing most of the damages. Our society is devolving to impersonating people on social media so that they may sway votes for a party that limits free speech.
Also misrepresenting someone intentionally unironically limits their free speech

Impersonating others with the intend to harm them =/= free speech, that's the point.
If he can stop them by simply banning them he won't sue.
What happens if a 44B investment gets run into the ground by malicious actors?
I think 44B is worth the trouble of suing people don't you think?
Exactly right. There is no accountability defamation has serious consequences. Amber Heard to Kathy Griffin to BLM malicious actors who spread lies and cause both physical and financial difficulties on mass scale need to be put in their place.
