When a girl gets her period it is up to her parents to handle it. This has been how a girls first period has been handled since the inception of time. Sex education exists to give specific details about the anatomy of boys and girls. Sex education has never existed to help little girls cope with their periods and teach them what pads to have their parents buy for them.

What you fail to recognize here is the difference between conservatism and libertarianism. A lot of libertarians are siding with conservatives lately because the left has gone completely insane.

This particular conversation is about reigning in how sexuality is being taught in schools. Teachers were given freedom to have conversations in their classrooms about sex and ram all the way to bringing fetish shows into the schools. Yes drag is a sexual fetish, and yes this happens all the time now. Just the other day there was a mandatory drag show in a California high school.

Wielding government power to prevent this is one of the reasons we elect representatives to pass laws.
