You know why they leave them for dead? Because if they help them, the police views them as suspects, thinking they stopped because they felt guilty about knocking them over. Relating that to a political ideology is beyond stupid but I know you're not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed.

Last night a friend of mine watched a kid get jumped on the bus by a gang of crips.
He said he was scared to interfere for that same reason - I bet all sorts of bus passengers at the time came up with excuses as to why they're worthless pieces of carbon & water.
Seattle is liberal as fuck, but we have good Samaritan laws. In EMT school I heard stories of people who failed to help others for your same excuse.
