I can't remember what I specifically said, and I'll never trust you to accurately repeat it. Trump is certainly tapping into irrational fears that people have over terrorism and immigration. I think Trump would still be #1 in the polls if he moderated those positions. People like his no bullshit attitude. He doesn't talk like a politician.

Republican voters as a whole are probably more racist than Democratic voters. Saying the Republican party is racist sounds like the type of herp derp we all expect from you.

there have been several cases of republican politicians coming out and saying this explicitly but everyone knows that won't sway you since seeing evidence that you're wrong would only reinforce your beliefs as that is how your brain works

That's right, submit to your lizard brain. You've been challenged and your leader is fighting back for you.

What's funny though is if the establishment had 1 candidate they would be winning. Trump is only going to win this election because Republicans have too many candidates.

Imagine if Biden got into the race a month ago and split the establishment/Tyrone/Shaniqua vote. Bernie would take the race.

I'm surprised Kasich did so well. That last debate must have really been as good as Widow was saying. These results are all jumbled up from Iowa. I saw the clips were Rubio got recked by Christie. Must have really made the difference.

He's doubled down in NH, giving it a Waterloo vibe for his team, and also doubled down on going super positive and avoiding negative ads altogether, while everybody went super negative there.

He's been going around telling people he is the Prince of Light.

Oh... so when a few Republican politicians say something you agree with, it's true. Sound logic coming from the Hindu atheist.

I can't recall any prominent Republican politicians saying the Republican party is racist though. inb4dodge

@ Bold - I laughed. Yeah, he would have taken significant amounts of minorities from Hillary and that's Bernie's biggest weakness. Bernie would have definitely taken Iowa but overall I don't know.

I agree about Trump, but he's evolved into more than that. He's actually gotten some moderate support, which is scary. He opened with primarily racists (he knew EXACTLY what he was doing too, fucking genius) but that was really just to get the attention. This seems to be an election of outsiders. I thought Rand would do better for that reason but Trump stole his fire.

The Republican party's weakness is their lack of leadership. Unfortunately they don't have a single viable candidate except Kasich. As much as I'd like to think Rubio is viable he's way too young and inexperienced. He can't get off talking points like in the previous debate and that will destroy him in the general election.

There's a reason LBJ said "We have lost the south for a generation". Guess who the south votes for..... Another fun fact. The word "inner city" only started appearing in Republican dialogue after the civil rights act was passed. There's many more examples like this of coded racism appearing. Another is that the confederate flag as we know it today was only popularized during desegregation of the south, and was used by.... southern racists.....

He's a Republican traitor who probably won't vote Republican again in his life. Plus, the black community perpetuates the trauma of the past onto their kids, so they see racism everywhere. It's why you feel victimized getting a pat down at the airport.
