"Supreme purpose: We evolved a thinking, rational mind for one supreme purpose, and that purpose is to use it to learn the fundamental truth of life. It has to be the purpose, because nothing else really matters. It explains our life.

If knowing the truth of life is not the most important thing, what is?"

From page 170 of "The Present (with religion)" second entry of The Truth Contest http://www.truthcontest.com/

If you guys really want to debate, why don't you answer to this question ? :D
That said, I do not guarantee to reply to your answer.

I don't know anyone with a rational mind (myself included). For example:
Would anyone with a rational mind post this much garbage in a thread? Or better yet: Would anyone with a rational mind respond to you, after seeing how you dealt with other responses in the past? But here I am posting a response anyway...

We all have a rational mind, but most do not use it.

The fundamental truth of life is explained in the first 3 pages of "The Present" http://www.truthcontest.com/entries/the-present-universal-truth/ (then in details in rest of the book).
Mind evolution --> from animal to now.
