RFK is a weird loon, the bulk of his current support in polls imho comes from voters who like neither Biden nor Trump. He's the meme candidate, I would guess that his true supporter base (those who genuinely like him for his stances and personality) make up 1% of the electorate or less.

Maybe but I've been hearing he was a gamechanger in Trumps favour. Perhaps thats being downplayed now? Or it was always wishful thinking.

He showed his true colours when he chose one of his largest donors who happens to be a billionaire to run as VP.
I know it takes funds upon funds to run a campaign. But you can't really sell that anti-establishment pseudo-left wing relatable candidate vibe, when you plug the money man (or woman) in as your choice for VP.

From what I've seen in terms of recent polls, Trump's margin over Biden is higher in multi-candidate polls than in two-way polls. But that's not so much due to RFK and more because Stein and West pull voters from Biden's coalition while there is no similar spoiler candidate on the right.
