Seems the only way to get rid of degenerate populists is to give them the wheel for a moment so people can see how bad they are. This is probably what could happend with Macron.

But at least here we have the illusion of a choice, like we can become different genders and stuff and have dozens of ways to consume the dictatorships don't!

If only you could leave with you inner circle into a non western non democratic country, then giving us a complete feedback on how good it is after like hmm 30 years. That would be awesome !

Ironically, highly productive and highly educated immigrants to the US are one of the reasons we outperform Europe. France imports future 'doctors and lawyers' from the Sub-Sahara, we get a bunch of engineers and STEMs from China and India. Nicely done!

If you look at the results of the EU elections on a country-by-country basis, you will see that right-wing populists have lost ground in Poland and the Nordic countries, where the mainstream parties have credibly pivoted on the issue complex of immigration/asylum/Islam. By contrast, right-wing populists and anti-immigration parties made huge inroads in countries like France, Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Austria or Italy, where the mainstream parties either flat out refuse to change course on this issue complex, or are just paying lip service which the voters don't buy.

Voted.

Far right pieces shit populists increased again their vote shares in european parliament, sad news today.

A mini victory for pro-putin and ignorants anti-all who think putting incompetent opportunists in charge is a good solution

Macron announces the dissolution of the National Assembly, this is major event.

@news:

Emmanuel Macron announces the dissolution of the National Assembly, and calls legislative elections for June 30 and July 7

After mentioning the score of the far right during these elections, Emmanuel Macron declared: “I will therefore not be able, at the end of this day, to act as if nothing had happened. Added to this situation is a fever which has taken over public and parliamentary debate in our country in recent years.

“This is why, after having carried out the consultations provided for in article twelve of our Constitution, I decided to give you the choice of our parliamentary future again by voting,” he added.

“I will sign in a few moments the decree convening the legislative elections which will be held on June 30 for the first round and July 7 for the second,” added Emmanuel Macron.

What defines far right politics in the EU

is it anti immigration policies and bullshit or like full blown fascism like the hogs are brainwashed in the west

Since many people are stupid and/or ignorant they don't even know that France is one of the european country getting the less new migrants per year.

Btw I have a concrete example of the lies: Far right liars doing speeches where they include the 2015 Syrian migration in their extrapolation .... Saying "in the last 10 years...." then extrapolate on the 50 next years based on these numbers ...
While it's obvious that countries like Germany will not do it again lol. And while it's obvious that France will not do it either and didn't even take that much.

They do this for everything, so the only safe way is to show them in charge, this is what could happen the next month here.

>Other places are bad therefore you can't be critical of our politicians.

Valid summary. For long enough the centre right became the centre or even centre left. Especially on immigration. This is simply an outcome of that.

Should add the effect of Social networks, the WEB, Medias... Which changed alot in the last two decades. And we have to add the Russian and Chinese insane interference on the top of that.
This definitely massively contributed to the rise of far right, even a part of the far left. What a fail.

This is not the first time you praise anti-democratic systems while living in it. Nuanced like a brick ...

It is funny and sad to see how poorly the left understands their own country. You start by calling a very large plurality (perhaps majority) of your fellow citizens degenerate, and then you can't find any reason they might not like you outside of "Russian / Chinese disinfo".

Read:

- Do not amalgamate "Left" and "Right" with nothing else: We are not in crazy U.S bipartism here, or at least : we are trying to avoid such a "situation" (rofl).
- Populists, which often align with far right because it is where they can catch voters easily, are barely politicians, more like opportunits, but they have their seat so why complaining ?
- At some point the best way to show how incompetent and eventually dangerous or compromised they are is to put them in charge. This is what could happen with Macron.
- The best way to expose them is probably to do it through "cohabitation", i posted the link earlier, you should read it instead of writing shitty "you you you you..." ty in advance, really.

/e

The scenario would be, for France and especially Macron, to put LePen's party in power at the parliamentary level and to only keep the foreign policy and defense part
Results of the parliamentary elections within 3 weeks.
