Musk most likely is happy just banning them. EZ and he's the last one laughing
But clearly a bunch of those imposters have the intention to harm him and the platform
Other example, twitter is getting bad press because a small number of accounts have been pumping out thousands of tweets containing racial slurs / n word etc
Twitter loses add revenue etc
so to round it out your opinion is that Musk should sue people (you said it should go to courts and we've now established that means musk has to sue them) even though musk doesnt want to.
happy we cleared that up.

FYI not all laws are based on damages but perceived. Attempted murder carries intentions to do harm, not driving at certain speed limit even though you don't cause harm to anyone is also an offence as examples.
Derogatory comments like musk drinking his own piss without explicit joke/parody warning and impersonating him to manipulate elections is akin to a local newspaper saying Joe biden revealed he likes to drink his own piss and secretly would like Trump to come back into office. There are millions of eyeballs who would see that and has impact.
If someone catches wind let's say Kathy decides to con people into believing that musk is a kiddy fiddler that will impact his Tesla sales and will drive certain users away from the Twitter platform. Losing customers creates financial burden.
I mean you laugh at Alex Jones like a degenerate but in the same breath peddle lies for Kathy like she is different and all of a sudden same laws don't apply is a deplorable human trait. That will be $1billion please.
i laughed at Jones, and at the same time disagreed with the judgement against him.
courts getting involved in social media posts is a terrible idea, and its a can of worms you'll never be able to close. you're shortsighted, prosecute kathy griffin and 10 years later you'll see sitting politicians put in prison for tweets, mark my words. just ban them for their stupid posts, dont regulate social media companies, its a terrible idea.
