black slaves were bought from black owners in Africa.

They surpassed the boundaries of racism by wanting to secede from the Union in order to preserve slavery. Racist traitors do not deserve statues of honor in broadlight - maybe in a museum as a warning shot.

The emancipation proclamation didn't free slaves in the north.

The south also had more free blacks in their army. The north only used blacks as........ army musicians.

I understand that you want to create clear boundaries as to what is evil and what isn't, but I think the history is too complicated to draw a distinct line.

There were no black confederate soldiers until the war was 2 weeks from over. Because it was illegal.

The blacks that were "part of the army" were slaves.

The other 2 thought the war was an overreach and seceded.
