Great but that isnt how grammar works. So if you want to start creating your own rules for grammar and trying to argue that against me then you are a fucking idiot.

let me know.

wouldn't killing it, even at a less effective rate than washing hands, equal doing something special?

it does still work, its just not a perfect solution.

and this is a false binary, because people can wash hands AND use sanitizer too.

No Read the article the guy posted.

People can do both, but If you were to wash your hands with soap and water properly that would make using sanitizer obsolete because hand santizier doesnt do as good of a job anyway and washing with soap and water would catch anything that just sani would.

Think of it like a vaccuum. if you have a more efficient hose that can pull every and mroe than an other hose, then the secodn hose is obsolete and a waste of time and inefficient to use. cant make it any more clear.

I know I'd rather enter a public bathroom than use hand sanitizer during an outbreak.

Smart man.

or you could carry soap and water on yourself, rather than sanitizer.

OK, I will eat some crow here. I did misinterpret the quote, and found additional information that soap and water is better than just hand sanitizer.

https://www.popsci.com/story/health/hand-sanitizer-soap-coronavirus/

That being said, there is a lot of misinformation going around that hand sanitizer is not effective at all in killing the COVID-19, when that isn't the case. I mean, you can see how misreading the word "special" can completely change a topic. Now misreading that is on me, but the idea that hand sanitizer isn't effective at all is an incorrect one (not one you've promoted, but one that is running rampant around other parts of the Internet).

Absolutely. Sorry if I was misleading you.

OK, back on topic....looks like all major US health insurance providers are waiving copays/deductibles for COVID-19 testing, and extending coverage for treatment. This is a good thing.
