Bullshit, God decides to prove he exists by sending us a regular human being that people from 2,000 years ago claim has powers? Send Criss Angel back to that time and people would probably think he's Jesus Christ too.
People are gullible creasures terrified of their own mortality and made up some bullshit to comfort themselves and others and it was turned into a way to corrupt and overpower others to gain riches and status. That's it.
Every time the bible was expanded on, it was just someone who was smart enough to twist the bible to ascend to some form of power over people to manipulate them. It branched out as more people figured out it was an easy way to manipulate masses and that's why today we have so many different religions. You think yours is the right one? There's hundreds, thousands, tens of thousands of religions and beliefs out there nowadays. Even if God was real you're playing the equivalent of the Religion Powerball. It's all garbage, and even if it was true, statistics say you're worshipping a false idol and will burn in hell anyways.
