I tend to agree, but keep in mind that the current status quo is significantly to the left of where voters back in 2020 thought Biden's presidency would end up.
Aaaand also keep in mind that his administration and the vast majority of Democrats supported the significantly more ambitious Build Back Better bill and came within one vote of getting it passed. Just like Biden, Harris and nearly all Democrats would have been on board with blatant power grabs like DC statehood and packing the Supreme Court. The Biden presidency was far more lefty and radical than it let on during the 2020 campaign.
Let me phrase it like this: if Kamala wins the presidency and has a trifecta (unlikely, but not entirely inconceivable), I have very little doubt that she would push quite the radical agenda. And in my personal, admittedly biased opinion, even just a continuation of the current status quo would already be a disaster.
