I agree that a sensible bail reform is necessary. Letting arrested criminals back on the streets all the time like NYC tried this spring is a step in the very wrong direction though.
Healthcare and the minimum wage are two issues where the GOP really should let the Dems win. These issues are nothing but a drag on them at this point, and they've lost the battle over public opinion on these issues anyway.
We obviously disagree on climate policy and globalism. ;)
What I wonder though: are you really not afraid of the Dems abolishing the filibuster and packing the Senate and the courts?
I think the GOP would have to obstruct some very reasonable legislation for the filibuster to go. I don't think the Dems would get rid of it unless they had some really good reason to do so. I'm not worried about packing the courts either because the GOP has a HUGE advantage there (through their obstruction of Obama and focus with Trump).
The reason we disagree on climate policy is because I don't think voters are good at solving long term issues (climate change, deficit spending, etc.) Congress should hide this as much as possible from the American people and unelected bureaucrats should focus on how the money gets spent/enforcement mechanisms.
