and the fruitless attempts of others to educate them (yes, i agree that it is a waste of effort)

Just saw this. I think it's too late to quit. He's already ruined 40 years of good will and the reputation he built up with the press with these instances of him just shamelessly lying right to them when he knew what he saying wasn't the truth (Melania's plagiarism, Trump's answer on NATO to NYT, that the campaign wasn't behind the language change re: Ukarine in the party platform) that quitting now accomplishes nothing. He might as well adopt the strategy that the rest of the GOP has been taking since 2013: take the paycheck and pray for a miracle to bail them out.

Then Trump is right and our immigration system is broken.
