It amazes me why people want to normalize not having a family. The cultural programming was far more successful than anyone could have ever imagined. All women regret not having a family, but not until its too late.

Big corporations admit to making this happen to increase their profits - because lonely women are more excessive consumers.

If it was just me having a problem, it would be anecdotal and irrelevant . We are seeing an entire generation fade away.

the world is plagued by 2 predominant issues moving forward:

1. lack of jobs as automation eats up labor
2. overpopulation that will eventually lead to starvation, increased disease vectors, and a general lack of resources that will cause us to eventually (at least partially) colonize other planets (most likely with mixed results)

god's word is not eternal, god's word requires updating for modern times. this isn't an open practice, it shouldn't be done willy nilly by laymen to suit their selfish desires. but eventually cloven animals become worthwhile food, tattoos dont preclude u from a Christian burial, tithes take into account taxation and are reduced, etc.

the message to make a family asap to populate the land will follow the same path, as it should. any doctrine that leads to our eventual destruction isn't worthwhile.

I agree with most of this although I find the priority of those two causes and the time table cartoonish.

One factor in the decline of families is loss of income due to - like you said - automation and globalization.

The important Bible quote here is "the road of righteousness is narrow and few will find it." But that has always been true.

I'd simply prefer to arrange society in a way so that it is still possible for a majority of working class people to have families. Empires decline when the nuclear family decreases below a certain threshold. China understands this and changed its laws accordingly.



Luckily he is a man of God and avoids the long term pitfalls of that type of life.

The fact that men aren't marrying used up women over forty is a slight revolt in itself. Historically widows would still have men willing to be with them, but the combination of their narcissism and lack of morals has made men figuratively revolt by just ignoring them. Unfortunately the government is literally paying women in their stead now - men pay 80% of taxes while women take most of the benefits.

Marriage still works for 20% of men, but if the number drops more we should expect to see weird things on the horizon. If you put otherwise good-natured men in a no-win situation with nothing to lose, why wouldn't they do something weird?

you can always leave the west and get a family elsewhere, the destruction of the nuclear family will be our downfall

but you dont need to play the game and wife up a 30 year old sorority chick, who had her first train run on her during freshman orientation

the good thing about globalisation is that you have a choice
