Yes, as a so-called "transhumanist" I am interested.
I've researched the topic(s) for well over a year now, and the zeitgeist nowadays is the idea of a "technological singularity", or more specifically an "intelligence explosion". Personally I'm skeptical, but there are other strands of transhumanism which are clearly technically feasible, and as far as I can tell are preferable for most ideologies outside of straight-up humans-are-perfect-theism (which in itself is a misrepresentation of most theistic views).
(explicit examples being preimplantation genetic diagnosis and CRISPR genome editing)
