I think at this point they're hoping that the % of the white majority they can get by continuing this tactic is larger than the % of the minority vote they'll lose.

Im sure there will be shady vote suppression as the next phase in the plan. Likely a campaign urging diehard berniebros to abstain rather than vote Hillary, mixed with the same old fear tactics to try and shore up some likely Johnson voters.

I mean when we look at it whites are like 70%, so disparaging each other 10% category could yield positive net gains. I don't think it will though without a historically low voter turnout.

I've said all along I don't think he ever intended to get this far and has no interest in doing the job (winning yes working no)

He has made it very clear that his excuse is "rigged system"

It's harder to sell that in a landslide but if he loses in a close election it's all he will ever talk about to brand build for a very long time

"I tried to save this country but it's all rigged but look how far I got I am such an amazing man blah blah blah here buy a Trump tote bag"

Ya from the time that Kasich offer got leaked I've been convinced he's trying to brand the office. He'd have no more activity in the whitehouse than he does in the Trump Steaks home office or the Trump University board of directors meetings. He wants to be the face on the package so his other products get a boost, while handing unprecedented power to the VP.

The only consolation of this is that if Trump_Pence pull off the upset Pence will be president instead of Trump.

Honestly I feel that all of this has been talked about behind closed doors with prominent republicans, including Paul Ryan, which is why Trump is tolerated. Because if the GOP can win using this man as a draw to the party they'll sit a moderate in office who will get the cooperation of congress.

How else, besides a polarizing political system, can we explain people like Chris Christie, Paul Ryan, and John McCain coming over? When they were actively mocked by Trump?

only 2 ways to send a message

a massive vote for johnson or a massive vote for clinton

big turnouts and big percentages

reject the eff outta Trump and the republicans

republicans have an easy out this time around too because from a supposed republican perspective Gary should be a fine fit

Eric Cartman took over the party. This is totally an episode of South Park come to life. Matt and Trevor or whomever writes South Park is probably like "wtf" and will probably just quit because there is no way they can top one of their episodes coming to life and manifesting in American politics. But Cartman doesn't win at the end, and everything keeps being normal.

i want the establishment to stop playing the "we must beat HRC" game. its a fucking sham.

I mean im not even rooting for the GOP in any way, shape, or form but god damn its sad to see them misplay the situation so badly while also coming off as cucked pussies. Paul Ryan missed a golden opportunity early on to take a stand, he pussyfooted around and by the time he was publicly fed up he was stuck. Leaders like McCain should have just pulled a GWB and not commented one way or the other unless repeatedly pressed. John McCain lost all of my respect the day he endorsed the man who mocked him for being a POW, thats about as cucked as cucked gets....
