Lol what? Goodyear is telling its employees that "wearing MAGA attire is unacceptable" while explicitly endorsing visibile support (like e.g. attire) for BLM and LGBTQIP issues.
Goodyear are the ones who got political for no good reason, they're a fucking tire company.
If a company gets political and shits on the president, I really see no issue with the president telling them to get fucked. Being president doesnt mean that you must become bhudda and stoically endure any kind of abuse.



Regarding your second pic: Trump has urged mayors and governors of riot-ridden cities time and time again to do something against the chaos on their streets, they refused. And when he sent the feds, all of liberal America was immediately piling on him, accused him of dictatorial tendencies and violating state and municipal autonomy, yada yada. What more is he supposed to do?

Democrats control all levers of power in these places, they dont want to do anything about the rioting and looting, they dont want any help from federal law enforcement, they are unwilling to protect their own populace. The only thing he could do to stop it is sending in the military, which would obviously be a horrible and counterproductive idea for 1001 different reasons

Realistically, the only thing left to do for him is to let these cities deal with the issue themselves. If their Democratic mayors, city councils and governors dont want to handle the protests, the only thing left to do for Trump is wait until these cities stop electing Democrats. By contrast, if they reelect Democrats, they dont want it any other way and deserve what they'll get. Not his problem anymore.

Why are you guys getting so bent out of shape about a private company and their internal policies? If the employees don't like it, they can go work for another tire company. Since it's a tire company, I really only care about 2 things:

1. Is the tire going to work well?
2. How much does the tire cost?

Indeed. However, given how split everyone in America is, I don't want to have "red businesses" and "blue businesses." It simply highlights how rotten the soul of America is.

Is it really that hard to understand why 'we' do not want corporate America to get fully pulled into the ongoing partisan civil war; that we do not want them to take sides on issues that inherently have nothing to do with their actual business and forcing their hypocritical view on their employees?

Cancel culture is indeed a fucking cancer, and I wish Trump had come up with a more clever way of getting back at Goodyear. I nonetheless understand why he felt compelled to retaliate against them in the first place.
