Except that no one suggested defunding the FBI without replacement - the idea is to give the funds freed up by disbanding the FBI to state law enforcement, so that the same level of overall law enforcement is maintained, but coming from agencies which (unlike the FBI) aren't rotten to their core.

By contrast, the "defund the police" movement vacillated between "yes, we literally mean 'defund the police'" and "less cops, more social workers and psychologists".

wrong, once again. It was a Fbi attorney who got slapped on the wrist for "doctoring" an email. The email was related to surveillance on a campaign adviser. It was not the fbi, directly. Keep deflecting, Trump is always the victim.
