>disposable. So dramatic with that .2% death rate in that age group.
Just got home from a buddy's house. He had COVID. He was sick for two-three days eventually got over it. His mom with asthma also had it. He went back to work in a field that's in close contact with other people immediately after being cleared.
This is how most healthy people should handle it, not live in fear.
I agree. I work at a hospital I'm putting in work. But not everyone is lucky like us and are on the dole, which sucks. Its depressing. It would be a good time to get a degree if you hadn't by this point, regardless of age. Small entreprenaurs have been decimated by this. I haven't eaten out since March...but that's mostly because my wife got me a badass Weber grill and I have an executive Costco membership lol. If I want a steak i put charcoal in the chimney
Been grilling a lot of meat this summer. And having a lot of parties because I trust my social group to not come if they're ill.
I think we should quarantine at-risk people, as long as they're willing, and things that can be done remotely should. My job could be totally be done remotely but I and my boss feel that it is better for the patients if I am there because sometimes having a big dumb animal in the room is important. But this school year is gonna be a bust for my kids...gonna go to virtual academy
I have a colleague whose husband is someone who sets up charter schools....i wonder what they're doing lol.
And i love my health. I know its temporary, especially now that my life is half over (if I'm lucky) and I'm facing entropy and death down the road. I enjoy it as much as I can. I'm having a cocktail after swimming until 10 pm and I'm grateful for the present.
