It really boggles my mind how anyone can be surprised by the political development in Italy. Or Sweden for that matter. It was a long time coming. Labelling everyone who speaks out against a legitimate issue as "racist/nazi/fascist/extreme/inhumane" only goes so far. Sooner or later, this method of supressing dissent inevitably wears thin.

All across Europe, far-right parties were weak during the mid-00s until the early- to mid-10s. When their governments and Brussels opened the floodgates for poverty migration from backwards cultures under the guise of asylum law, many reasonable people from the middle of society, people who hadn't voted for or supported the agenda of far-right parties in the past, dared to disagree with this course, and only then were they labeled racist and lumped together with the actual nazis and far-right extremists.

It's the same story as in the U.S. with the pivotal Obama-Trump voters who swung the election in Trump's favor in 2016, followed by liberals, Democrats and the MSM all claiming that the deciding factor for Trump's election was racism.

a society/country can freely determine if they want foreigners to move in or not, japan is a good example for only allowing minimal migration
